The past month between all of the rain, and even the brief heat wave we’ve experienced, we do know Summer is on the way, and it may “ring” in with some extreme temperatures.
So we wanted to maybe give you a few “memory joggers” so you can hopefully ensure your vehicle will stay tip top throughout the warmer and even very hot months during Summer.
Yes, the obvious is making sure the oil and filter are changed properly and timely, but also making sure normal preventative maintenance is completed as well.
*All fluids topped off and levels checked.
*Battery checked and charged
*AC System and Freon where it needs to be
*Check all plugs, belts and hoses, wires, etc..
*Brakes, Pads, Rotors & Alignment.
*Tire Pressure, Tread and overall wear.
For most, this may seem somewhat “elementary”… But we can assure you with the amount of drivers and customers we see that experience so many problems, most could have been avoided if they just took a little time to stay on top of their car or truck.
Now, we don’t expect you to do these things on your own, unless you’re certainly capable of doing so… But that’s where we come in. Our technicians will do a full diagnostic check throughout your vehicle, checking every working part to make sure your vehicle lasts as long as you have it.
Yes, we know certain things happen and cars and trucks do break down, and in some cases it’s not really anyone’s fault, it’s just no one car (or person) is perfect.
So while we celebrate Summer on it’s way, attend Graduations and so many other family and friend parties, we hope you will keep these tips in mind before embarking on those long Summer road trips!
